Coach Owens graduated from Salisbury University in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Since 2018, he has taught in the Wicomico County Public School System. Prior to his time in teaching, Coach Owens ran the sports camps at the Henson YMCA and has been a dedicated coach at the Delmarva Pony League since 2015.

Owens is beginning his sixth year as a coach of the Wicomico Blue Sox, fourth as manager. Since taking over in 2019, Owens has dedicated time to bringing Legion Baseball back to the Eastern Shore and getting Wicomico back to states.

Trevor Owens is a graduate of Parkside High School and is currently attending Salisbury University to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology. Owens specializes in strength and conditioning. Owens is entering his third year as a coach of the Blue Sox and will be joining the Parkside coaching staff in the Spring of 2022.
